Spencer Thiele
I am a recent graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Software Engineering looking for a job in the Game Development Industry. I’ve had a passion for games of any kind since I was young. Some of my current favorites are Disc Golf, Azul, and Peak.
I first started developing games back in middle school when I learned Scratch. Since then, I’ve taught myself Unity, earned a degree in Software Engineering from Iowa State University, and received a Professional Certificate in Game Design through MIT xPro.
Projects
Lights Out
Lights Out was my Senior Design Project for my Software Engineering Degree at Iowa State. This project consisted of creating our own game engine to handle non-Euclidean rendering along with a prototype in Unity.
Mono Golf
Mono Golf is a minigolf game I developed independently for an assignment. I built it in MonoGame using Visual Studio for scripting and Aseprite for pixel art.
Tails
Tails is a 2D platformer I developed independently in Unity for a game jam. A coin is flipped whenever a jump is attempted to determine whether or not it succeeds.
